What your first visit covers

A history first
We ask about cycles or the timing of menopause, sleep, hot flashes, mood, libido, weight change, and what you have already tried. Medications, family history, and bone-health concerns are part of that conversation.
Labs drawn in clinic
Depending on symptoms, labs can include thyroid, metabolic markers, A1c, lipids, and sex-hormone labs. We do not treat a single number in isolation. Symptoms and stage of life decide what the labs mean.
A plan that fits you
Hormone options are not automatic and not one-size-fits-all. History, labs, symptoms, and personal risk decide what is worth discussing, and we will say if another path fits better.
Lifestyle stays in the plan
Sleep, protein, strength work, and stress load stay in the plan either way. Weight and blood-sugar goals can include GLP-1 care when that is a fit.

Frequently asked questions

Do you help with perimenopause and menopause symptoms?

Yes. We look at symptoms, labs, and stage of life, then build a plan around them. Hot flashes, night sweats, sleep, mood, and cycle changes are all part of that conversation.

Who provides women’s health visits?

Women’s health and hormone visits are with Dr. Cheryl Koelling, DC (Dr. K), Kee Health's founder. See Meet the team.

Will I need labs?

Usually yes. Targeted labs help us understand thyroid, hormones, and metabolic health before we recommend a plan. Blood draws can be done at Kee Health.

Is hormone therapy right for everyone?

No. History, labs, symptoms, and personal risk decide whether hormone options are discussed. We will say if another path is a better fit.

Can women’s health care include weight-loss support?

Yes. Metabolic and weight concerns are part of women’s health care, and GLP-1 care is available when it is a fit.

Is this the same as an online hormone clinic?

No. Your care is local and based on your lab results, with follow-up in person at Kee Health in Waunakee. You meet with the same provider over time, and your plan changes as your symptoms and labs change.

How often are follow-up visits?

Most patients come back about every 4–8 weeks at first, so we can review symptoms and labs and adjust the plan. After that, visits are spaced out once you’re stable.

Do you take insurance?

We are out of network for major insurance. We accept credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
