What your first visit covers

A history first
Low energy, slower recovery, and a drop in drive can come from sleep, stress, thyroid, blood sugar, or low testosterone. We ask about all of it, plus medications, alcohol, and training, so we know what to test.
Labs drawn in clinic
Labs usually include a morning testosterone, and often a metabolic panel, A1c, lipids, and thyroid when the history points there. A single low number is not an automatic answer. We may repeat or add labs when needed.
A plan that fits you
Hormone options are not automatic and not one-size-fits-all. History, labs, symptoms, fertility goals, and other conditions decide what is worth discussing, and we will say if another path fits better.
Lifestyle stays in the plan
Sleep, strength training, protein, and alcohol or stress load stay in the plan either way. Weight and metabolic goals can include GLP-1 care when that is a fit.

Frequently asked questions

What symptoms can low testosterone cause?

Common signs include low energy, low sex drive, poor sleep, low mood or motivation, trouble building muscle, and weight gain around the middle. These symptoms have other causes too, so we look at labs and history together.

Who provides men’s hormone visits?

Men’s hormone visits are with Dr. Cheryl Koelling, DC (Dr. K), Kee Health's founder. See Meet the team.

Will I need labs?

Usually yes. Labs usually include a morning testosterone, and often metabolic, A1c, lipid, and thyroid markers when your history points there. Blood draws can be done at Kee Health.

Is hormone care right for everyone?

No. History, labs, symptoms, fertility goals, and other conditions decide which options are discussed. We will say if another path is a better fit.

What if I am planning to have children?

Tell us at your first visit. Fertility goals change which options are worth discussing, so we want to know up front.

Is this the same as an online hormone clinic?

No. Your care is local and based on your lab results, with follow-up in person at Kee Health in Waunakee. You meet with the same provider over time, and your plan changes as your symptoms and labs change.

How soon will I notice a difference?

It depends on you, your labs, and the plan. Results vary. Follow-up visits review how you feel and recheck labs when needed.

Can men’s hormone care include weight-loss support?

Yes. Weight and metabolic goals are part of the conversation, and GLP-1 care is available when it is a fit.

Do you take insurance?

We are out of network for major insurance. We accept credit cards, HSA, and FSA.
