Fasting and how results are delivered
If your order includes a lipid panel or a fasting metabolic panel, do not eat for 8–12 hours before the draw. Water is fine. CBC, A1c, most thyroid labs, and Quantiferon Gold usually do not require fasting. We confirm instructions when you book.
Results go to the ordering clinician or authorized employer contact. Individual wellness results are reviewed with you at a follow-up visit or sent as authorized. We do not share results with anyone who is not listed on the order.

Do I need to fast?
Only if your order includes tests that require it, such as a lipid panel or some metabolic panels. CBC, A1c, most thyroid labs, and Quantiferon Gold usually do not. We confirm when you schedule.
How do I get my results?
Results go to the ordering clinician or authorized employer. Individual results are reviewed with you at a follow-up visit or released as authorized.
Can employers order panels for new hires?
Yes. Pre-employment and occupational panels can be set up for companies. Call (608) 207-8212 to open an account.
Do you draw labs ordered by another clinic?
Ask when you book. We routinely collect occupational, pre-employment, infectious-disease, and wellness labs at Kee Health.
