Meet Dr. Cheryl Koelling (“Dr. K”)

Dr. Cheryl Koelling, DC — known to her community as Dr. K — is the heart and vision behind our studio. She’s more than just a clinician: she’s an author, educator, women’s health advocate, and passionate leader committed to helping women move, heal, and thrive through every stage of life.

With a background as a practicing musculoskeletal and functional medicine clinician, Dr. K has spent years guiding patients through recovery from pain and injury while empowering them to take ownership of their health. Her expertise bridges clinical care, functional medicine, and Pilates-based movement, giving clients a truly integrated approach to wellness.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. K is the author of upcoming works on women’s hormones and functional health, and the founder of Strong & Steady Her — a women’s wellness movement designed to educate, inspire, and transform how women experience their bodies during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

As a women’s health advocate, she believes knowledge is power. She uses her platform to break down complex topics like hormones, bone density, inflammation, and metabolic health into tools women can actually use in daily life. Her work has inspired many to see that true wellness isn’t just about avoiding illness — it’s about building strength, energy, and resilience for the long term.

When she’s not teaching or seeing patients, you’ll find Dr. K writing, designing new programs, or dreaming up creative ways to merge science with real-life solutions for the women she serves. In addition to her clinical and educational work, Dr. Koelling is invited to serve as a peer reviewer for medical research journals, applying her expertise to evaluate emerging science.

💡 Her mission: To redefine women’s health by making it approachable, empowering, and transformative — so every woman feels strong, steady, and confident in her body.

Meet Natalie

Lead Pilates Instructor

Natalie found Pilates during her first semester at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and it didn’t take long for her to dive in fully. Just a semester later, she enrolled in the Pilates Certificate Program through the UW Dance Department under the mentorship of Collette Stewart and Liz Sexe. Pilates helped Natalie heal injuries and cultivate a sense of bodily autonomy she hadn’t experienced before—benefits that transformed her life both inside and outside the studio.

Teaching professionally since January 2021 in Madison, WI and New York City, NY, Natalie’s philosophy centers on building strength with playfulness and accessibility. She designs classes that balance challenge and support, and she’s known for clear, direct cues and simple language so everyone can follow along and feel successful.

When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find Natalie running, biking, swimming, doing yoga, or walking her dog by the lake. She can’t wait to move with you and help you discover what your body can do.
